Terms of Service

Haute is a technology platform that connects customers with independent fashion designers and tailors (“Designers”). Each order is a contract between you and the Designer, who is solely responsible for making and delivering the items. Haute is not the seller, manufacturer or importer of the items and does not take ownership of them.

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Product descriptions, prices, turnaround times and sizing are provided by Designers. Many items are made to order or bespoke to the measurements you provide — please supply accurate measurements, as custom pieces may not be returnable. A Designer may decline or cancel an order (for example if it cannot be fulfilled), in which case any amount paid for that order is refunded.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (e.g. Paystack). Haute may charge a service or processing fee, which is reflected at checkout or agreed with the Designer. By paying, you authorise the charge for your order and any applicable fees.

Delivery and returns are governed by each Designer’s policies, shown on their storefront. If something goes wrong with an order, contact the Designer first; you may also raise a dispute through the Platform, and Haute may help facilitate a resolution at its discretion. Haute is not a party to the underlying sale.

You agree not to misuse the Platform — including fraud, infringing others’ rights, uploading unlawful content, attempting to breach security, or using the Platform for anything other than its intended purpose.

The Platform, its software, branding and content are owned by Haute or its licensors. Designer content (images, designs, descriptions) belongs to the respective Designer. You may not copy or exploit any content without permission.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haute is not liable for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of items sold by Designers, nor for indirect or consequential losses. Where Haute is found liable, our total liability is limited to the fees we earned on the order in question.

You agree to indemnify Haute against claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions? Email hello@hauteapps.com.
